
BSc in Law and Economics from ICADE and with a PMGD from IESE, José Ignacio Leyún started his professional career in banking in 1983, attaining positions in different areas such as SubDirector of Correspondents for Bankinter, Operations Manager for Continental Bank in Madrid, Investment Bank Manager for Latin America and Development Manager for IBOS in Europe (Banco de Santander). His last position was as General Manager of the international network of Argentaria (working in the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia) with headquarters in New York (1996-1999). After his experience in banking, in 2000 he took on the Managing Directorship of Vending Pizza (Telepizza Group) and eventually became General Manager for "A tu hora", a joint-venture between Terra and Telepizza for a B2C company. In May 2001 he joined Seeliger y Conde International as director. He became a Partner at Seeliger & Conde in 2004.
